SUMMER INTERNSHIP

AHA Products Group of Comtech EF Data is seeking dynamic, self-motivated students for internships in Moscow, ID during the summer of 2012. Students should be Junior level (or higher) in EE, CE, or CS.
US citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
Hardware Engineers
Candidates must have completed basic circuit analysis and digital logic classes and know at least one programming language. They should also have excellent written and verbal communications skills. Experience with VHDL, C/C++, Perl, Linux, FPGAs, PCB design, lab equipment, networking protocols, and verification are all a plus. Hardware Interns will use VHDL and EDA tools to design, verify and implement circuits for FPGAs, PCBs and intellectual property products.
Software Engineers
Candidates must have completed data structures and algorithms classes and demonstrate proficiency in C/C++. They should also have excellent written and verbal communications skills. Experience with principles of software engineering, operating systems, Perl, Linux, test equipment, verification, low level programming, networking protocols, and test driven development are all a plus. Software Interns will write hardware drivers, verification modules and embedded code to support product developments.
