DVB-S2-X Compliant Symbol Mapper Core
The AHA4709S Symbol Mapper core is compliant with section 5.4* (see Note 1) of the Digital Video Broadcast S2-Extention (DVB-S2-X) standard. By default this core implements the re-ordering of interleaved columns in section 5.3.3 of the DVB-S2-X standard as required by the AHA4709E Encoder core but a programming interface is provided to disable this. The core is designed to connect directly to the output of the AHA4709E Encoder core. The core fully supports Adaptive Coding Modulation (ACM) and Variable Coding Modulation (VCM) by allowing code and modulation changes on a block-by-block basis.
